Meaning, purpose, intention, they all overlap in fragments.
They come apart, come back together but never quite land. Always close by but never at hand.
Between exegeting and eisegesis, between what we read into things and what we get out of them. The most communicative things take place in the silent spaces between words. The gaps between what we say and what we think we mean.
Floating like a promise drawing nearer and nearer to you without ever allowing you to hold onto anything. The hope of something beyond your ability to speak.
P.S. - ICAD - Day 139 - 142
P.P.S - Recently Contemporary Collage Magazine took submissions for their annual awards. I was ‘encouraged’(threatened) by my friend and fellow collage artist Kirk Read to enter. I did, begrudgingly. But…I received notice this week that I was shortlisted in two categories; Series, and Nature: Single Image. Looks like I owe Kirk an apology. Link below if you’d like to check it out:

Lovely piece, it’s very poetic today and I’m here for it! Beautiful works too of course and congratulations on the CCM nomination!
Congratulations! A well-deserved selection of your work for two series.
