YAY! MARTHA! That’s wonderful! I hope you have the best birthday possible! We missed you so much! But I’m so happy you had a good time! I love you with all my everything!
Always love your thoughtful posts Duane, enjoyed this yesterday from David Whyte. Nice background listening. Though her speaks of Poetry, it would land with artists, all forms I'd hazard. Have a great day!
The unknowing can be a good place to rest and wait.
Maybe the unknowing becomes the glass through which we see clearly.
Sometimes it is only after having rested and waited, time enough for truths to surface, that we may see that some of those things in the rearview were not really as we had thought and that now the path towards the future has opened.
Maybe resting quietly in the unknowing for a while is how true knowing is born.
Thank you Kay! Rebecca Solnit says that “Hope is an embrace of the unknown and the unknowable, an alternative to the certainty of both optimists and pessimists.” Hope is most alive in places that are liminal. It’s teh unknowing that opens us boldly to possibility. Thanks again!
I could and will say the same thing about you! you’re ability to so tangibly capture mood and atmosphere always leaves me speechless. thanks for everything you do!
I’m out celebrating my 75th birthday brunch. I’m so sorry to miss the meetup!!!! I’ve been looking forward to it for weeks. Have fun everyone!🤩
