Making, means making a way. Making a path. Creating a clearing, a trail. Often where there wasn't one before. Often in a direction that deviates from the surer footing of the main roads. From the routes and thoroughfares you're used to.
It's slow and difficult and grueling. With little to no visibility. You can see how far you've come, but you can't see how much further you have left to go. You can see where you were, but you can't see where you're getting to.
But every act of making is also an act of service. Every path you make, you make available for others to find and follow, as they're learning to make their own way.
