Yes, constraints... So much more interesting than total freedom

I continue to feel so enthusiastic about your work, I really do! So inspiring.

Thank you Emily! That's so kind of you! For me, I find that narrowing the parameters, helps to narrow my attention into a concentrated focus, and I start to notice what I haven't. I start to see differently. Thanks again!

This is a great point: "It's the liberation of constraint. The limitless possibility of limited space." As a creator, that constraint offers liberation of sorts and learning to live and work within a paradox is quite a free feeling. I like that collage "subject to less" Duane - interesting things going on in that image.

Thanks Neil! Too many options and possibilities, paralyze me. I find that I really need a certain amount of confinement to be creative in interesting ways.

Not sure I agree about boxes but I like your collages very much. Where is your shop?

Thanks Robert! I like to think of it as teh 'kids and cats principle' - if you give a box to a kid or a cat you quickly discover that some of teh most creative thinking takes place inside them, lol. Thanks again!

Shipping to canada $24. Ouch. Also postal strike looming. We do not live in an analog friendly world anymore.

I understand. I tried my best to keep shipping free for as long as I could, it just wasn't sustainable. I've also tried to offset the cost of shipping by selling my work as cheaply as I can.

Totally reasonable. Wish we were the 51st state. 😂
