"To expose your heart to danger, to the inevitability of it breaking. To move on after the loss. After the catastrophe. After someone, or something, is gone of taken away carelessly."
Yeah, it's a tough one. I think self-knowledge and wisdom is probably the way. Weird example perhaps, but I always think about Dumbledore's empathy and civility in all circumstances. How in the world did he do that? I think it comes from a place of knowing one's self well enough, and having enough faith in others: for him, those are greater than the very reasonable fears that are always up there in the attic.
Thanks James! I've only ever read one of the Harry Potter book's, but i think you still make a good point. There's a certain degree of trust in one's own resiliency that's needed.
I like your point about art being the sum of all our experiences. It's interesting that the art created reveals the experience of both the creator and the observer.
Without a doubt, without those experiences, good or bad, paper cuts would be nothing more than that.

Yes! Exactly! There’s a reciprocity that happens. The creating of a third thing.
I love it when you remove the faces.
I'm so happy these are for sale
Thank you! Glad to hear, I don’t have a large repertoire of creative tricks, lol.
