You’re a true genius. It’s as if you’re playing music with only a few notes but still create a masterpiece with each song. As always, diggin’ the collages!
Thanks man! Genius is far too strong of a word for what I do, but I love your description “playing music with only a few notes”. I think that’s a superb way of putting what i try my best to do! Thanks for that insight!
The best time for me to work is very late at night or very early in the morning. The liminal times, when the earth is quiet. Inspired by your discipline.
One great thing I like about early mornings is the quiet. My mind and creative side feels like it can extend forever. I wasn't alway a morning person though. It took a few decades of practice. Caffeine helps a little as well. :)
I love the quiet of the mornings too. I’ve always tried to utilize them in some way. Usually for reading or meditation or exercising. Unfortunately my mind and creative side aren’t at their best in the mornings. They’re slow and achy. But, with my schedule these days, mornings are the best time for me to do my collage. Some mornings it can be difficult to get going and to work through it, but it does feel good to get a few pieces done before I leave for work.

Exactly. Couldn't say better. Genius work Duane!
That’s so sweet! Way more credit than I deserve. If anything I do is genius, it’s in getting good at stealing from geniuses, haha!

Your work is wonderful. I love your process :)
Yes! The liminal times! Everything interesting happens at the edges, at the periphery of all things.
