At the end of the day, all creatives are reclusive, weird and emotional - well, I am anyway! We live within our work. It what pushes us to move, to get up in the morning, it reduces us to tears, sparks an uncontrollable anger, makes us feel like we’re unstoppable, lowers us to the pits of worthlessness. We are immersed. Swallowed. It’s only when we emerge that we sense the effects of this submersion.
Pen to paper or fingers to keys, it’s where I’m happiest… excavating the remnants of a broken soul, attempting to thread together experience, questions, possibility and a creative spark to make something beautiful.
