“It's not easy, of course. Few things worth anything are. It takes time, like everything. But it starts with patience. With listening. With noticing.” - I couldn’t agree more.
Every time I get a notification telling me you guys collaborated on something, I get the biggest smile. I love the variations in the artwork here, and the writing under "The Pull of Recollection" and "It Takes Time" really got to me. Defying chronology/linearity in the way you're talking about seems endlessly interesting, and the reminder to look inside myself a bit more often is very welcome.
Really love the art for Marisol too, I'm so happy it popped up on here!
I'm so glad to hear that! Carolyn is always great to work with. Her writing is magnificent, always give me so much to draw from. Can't believe it took us this long to collaborate on a Playlist! Kicking myself. I think those moments of defying chronology are tied to attention and concentration. Tied to how we notice the things we find ourselves noticing. It's something we stumble into haphazardly and at the the same time something that requires a level of intentionality. Thanks for reading! I appreciate you!

I'm still learning it, over and over again, but the repetition is part of it too.

Your words fly, not merely resonate. The collages are beautifully done.
