Thanks for including my collage of collage (sorry I'm late to the comment party!). It's excellent to see everyone's work and all the inspiration at play. Peeps be brill!
This keeps popping up and I just want to say that the first collage is perhaps, to date, my all time fav collage of yours. I really really really love it.
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate. I was so hesitant to share this small series collages. It’s so starkly different than a lot of my other work. I was recently given a OLD black and white copy machine, and I’ve been making it my mission to figure out ways to use it creatively, lol. These are my attempts to.
Thank you! I really appreciate the way these particular source materials forced my work to be more minimalistic. It’s been interesting to explore and I’m looking forward to experimenting more. Thanks again!
My pleasure! It’s funny how that happens, isn’t it? The way randomly develop aversions to certain things, and then one day stumble into how wonderful it cane be.
This is such a great point, Duane: "The uncertainty isn't a malfunction. It isn't a deficit to be filled. It's the point of the whole endeavor. It's the catalyst to all making."
I sense this as I put together a post with a poem, several photos, and a brief description. I have no idea what will be the end result. But like you mention, that's the point. To borrow an old cliche: it's the journey, not the destination. That fourth collage of the striking remix made by allgōðr is very nice.

No worries! The internet is forever, lol.

Duane- as always, these are incredible.
Too kind! You’re awesome!
I have to thank you and the collage pack for allowing me to fall in love with the color red again. I think I’d been avoiding it a bit

The Vague Disquiet of the Spectators is spectacular, Duane!
Thanks Kim! I think that one tapped into something interesting, and I’ve been struggling to put my finger on it and find it again.

Yes! That’s it exactly! The thing that keeps me coming back to my work bench everyday is that I have no way of knowing what I might find there.
