Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! Rhythm and cadence are the things I pay the most attention to when I'm writing, probably teh things I obsess over the most as well, haha. It's always a fun challange piecing together teh writing and teh artwork. So glad you liked it!
Yes man! It's how I keep doing it too... because I can be insecure all I need to be whether people LIKE it... or if it's VALUABLE... but deep down I know that insecurity is bullshit. I still don't know what the thing is! Its mysterious quality is somehow more important.
Duane… these are beautiful. Pretty amazing when poetic thoughts and art collide!! Love both the contrasts between colour and black|white compositions. It's the orange index that's WOW!!… Love the beauty in the pink palette also. Gentle charm to it with a beautiful noted reminder. Keep playing with those art supplies…
Thanks so much! I tryto bring all m favorite mediums and forms of expression together in the newsletter, sometimes it works, lol. I'm reall glad you like it! The orange one is probably my favorite too! I'll definitel be plaing with that technique more as the challenge continues. The pink palette was such a happy accident, it was red and then I started plaing with the blending modes. Something I did turned it pink and I loved it. Sits so well with teh warmer sepia tones. Thanks again!
Thats so kind of you Elizabeth! I love the way a tpewriter adds so much more richness and depth to the words on the page. I find it's also a fantastic editing tool. When you're manually typing in such a effortful way, it makes you think about whether sentence or a phrase is reall necessary. Thanks again!
Awe-inspiring, Fast becoming one of my favorite poems I’ve read on here — there’s an incredible rhythm to it all, including the collage work.

Great composition in your collages, especially the second one. The hybrid technique is producing some interesting results.
